Maybe (in my own observation) those handsets which have more than 4 'bars' in the case of the Nokia brand . . . lasts longer. I have a Nokia 6510 then and having the original battery on it the stand-by time (when fully charged) lasts for a week, with minimal calls and sms . . .

i think many factors affect the phone's talk time and probably standby time. phones with less features require less battery consumption, and the reverse is true for those phones with jampacked features. we also have to consider the phone's screen, as it is activated most of the time you use the phone.

In my experience
Motorola C115 beats them all; a basic non color phone with a 920mAh battery, lasts more than a week !.

I had a Startac before T39m. The battery capasity was excellant some 8-12 days! The 2-battery system was wonderful, too. But T39m was even better with the highcapasity battery. But most often I use T39m with two batteries, one between my creditcards!
Waiting T39m revival so hard.

I would say the Motorola Startac. It has two batteries. One is situated on the back of the phone and a smaller battery on the flip.
