Hi all. I feel for Karimz. I suffer the same problem as him. My battery life lasts only for about 2.5 hours of talk time (and if I'm not talking then about 2 days standby) and its been about 2 weeks since i go this phone. Anyone suspicious of a dud battery or is this normal, considering the claim by Sony is (albeit) up to 9 hours and I'm in a excellent-reception area constantly.
I get 4-5 days of standby (very little use) and definitely get more than 2.5 hours talktime; about 6-7 hours atleast.
I charge every night mostly, so rarely have any sort of battery problems. One charge is well and truly enough to get through a day or even two of higher than normal use (depends on your definiton of normal though).

when talking on the phone, be as quick as possible. doesn't just save battery, also saves your $$$
or why dont you just not talk on your phone at all? and while you're at it, stop sending SMS too. in fact stop using your phone completely. i'm sure that'd save battery life.

How long is a lifespan of a battery of a w800i? I'm getting a feeling that my battery life is getting worse, the battery is about 7 months old. Have some of you already changed the battery?

This what you do, go to clock mode and turn it off, go to brightness level tune it down to either 80 or 60 percent and put a screen saver(pic) on the phone and not on the memory card. make sure all programs not being in use when your not using it like annoying reminders from the voicemail. These should save most of ur battery time.

But why the hell k700 doesnt not allow Brightness control???????!!!!!!!
I`d save a lot of battery if that would be able
same here... i would be able to save a big chunk of battery life from my S700 had that feature been available... oh well...
