hello everybody!
i ve still a big problem with my p910. i copied/pasted all files to the mmss** folder but my phone does not recognize the .APP file, which seems to be the essential program file for tomtom. my new idea is: maybe its the phone. do i have to update the firmware at the S/E homepage?
what is the appropriate folder to put the .APP file to?

i canīt wait to get it moving!!!!

I've been using TT5 on my P910i for a few months now.

IT'S GREAT!

I have the free UK safety camera database loaded from http://www.pocketgps.co.uk (the current version - Jan 06 is the last FREE version so get it soon!)

I also have Yoda's voice giving me directions.

I found that rotating the screen 90 degrees made it a lot easier to read - so the phone sits in the holder sideways and you have a 'widescreen' display.

I have been looking into buying some kind of GPS product and TT seems to be very popular, but I have some questions.

Will It work with the 9900 when it is available or will i have to buy another version?

Do you have to have Yodas voice?

Do voice commands come through on a bluetooth headset?

I looked on expansys and it seems its only good for the UK (No Euro Sandinavian maps listed)

Can I plan a route from say London to Helsinki by road and ferry and would Ihave to keep changing duo pro sticks does the main duo pro ave to be in the phone at all times or does the application load onto the internal memory?

i have loads of voices for tomtom including yoda, which like most of the other ones, is crap, although its not the worst. The one i use is John Cleese, and AFAIK its the only one which is actually voiced by the real person not some rubbish impressionist.
sound doesnt come through the headset and is pretty quiet.
you can buy a bigger memory stick and fit several maps onto it.
