No its not a standard charger but they do give an adapter which fits straight over a standard Nokia charger, so I just carry that around with me now when I wana charge my phone at a mates place etc, so nice and easy.

What's the earpeice volume like on the Vertu compared to the Nokia 8800? Through your experience, what phone is it most comparable to?
Thanks

Earpiece Volume is much louder and clearer than any other as it uses an acoutstic Yahama speaker. If im totally honest you simply cant compare it to any other phone I have used before. Leaves the 8800 for dead and I have on of those that I use day in day out.

Is that yellow Leather on the side and rear of your phone?
I like the colour and the volume buttons but not the shape of the screen.
Thanks for the first hand comments and pics.
BTW wouldn't a Vertu equate to a Maybach not an Aston?

No I would equate the Vertu signiture to a Maybach, but a Vertu Ascent to a V8 Aston Martin, purelly for the slightly sportier look.
