Like soulframe said the U.S works above the law....under the pathetic and war against terror laws no one can sue them.
Even under the Terrorist Act, they can't do what they did to them until they were deffinately proven to be terrorists. Specially if the whole world knows how the US was trying to frame them showing them bullshit videos and such, I think those terror laws would not be applicable in this case.

For a start there British and the Brits aren’t into suing as much as the yanks.

Nothing is impossible my man, there is always a first time. Hell if they came to me with their case I'd freakin take it. Even though that might mean an end to my legal career. But if i was a lawyer with ECHR I would personally go to them and tell them sue the wankers. I know brits aren't into suing and all compared to north-americans. I am a Canadian (even though I am in Scotland for studies) maybe thats why I emphasize on the suing issue. But in my opinion if a wrong has been done to you, you atleast deserve a freakin compensation.

Oh yeah i agree, compensation is due for them. Anyone who's put in prison wrongfully i think is given some form of compensation so these chaps should get something.
