This sounds ironic, but i took my k700 to the service center and i left it for a day or so because of my "joy"stick and when they gave me back, it had dust under the screen. But it's not serious after all.

like i said in the post before there is a foam layer under the front face plate surrounding the screen if u take it apart to take a look. the foam layer underneath the screen prevent dusts from getting under the screen. so if ur phone doesnt have that foam layer than u would more likely to get dust underneath ur screen.

i've had my k750 about 8 months and there is some dust under the screen but it's no biggie i can still see the screen. only problem i have is the dust under the joystick and just recently the silver on the joystick has started to come off which is a bit of a disapointment

never had dust under any sony ericsson's i've own.

the thing is though, once you take the phone apart, expect dust to go under because you won't seal it good enough

I have a w800 for more than 1 year and it has been dismantled several times but seems that no even a single dust appeared on my screen.
