Time will come when technology in terms of size stops. How small can devices go? Soon enough you'll have all these devices implanted in your brain lol Then what?

Learned from a friend that the chip in the memory stick is actually exactly the same in a 64mb as in 512mb or possibly even a 2gb. The explanation is that when the yield goes up, meaning the number of good chips you get out of one wafer, the more you can use of the "storage area" on the chip. Information is actually stored in a similar way as on a cd/dvd and an error correction program (solomon read or something like that) makes it possible to use areas that are not completely safe to store information on. I guess the memory chips in the mobile is the more common RAM aproach were you store information in bytes.
