@p900 lover - I found them all on autotrader.co.uk mate.
Personally I'd go for the fiesta, cheap to insure, service and parts will be cheap too and the zetec engine is great. The punto interior is just nasty and cheap.

@786KBR: The price of fuel, tax, insurance, and the rip-off price of new cars is crippling compared to a lot of other countries - hence the need for little rubber-band engined cars. Its an expensive place to drive, you have to pay £5 just to drive in London - and thats £5 every time - for Gods sake! There are stretches of motorway that you have to pay by the mile to drive on, and there is talk of introducing an extra car tax if you are not carrying passengers. Ridiculous.

...Also 1.0 litre cars come in handy for the elderly when they crash (they dont cause so much mash then)

lol!! makes sense i guess, but our car prices are 20% + higher than you guys and yet we buying/selling cars like mad people!!! Breaking car sales records every year!!
I think there are more 3 series BMs, c class mercs and Audi A4s on our roads than anywhere in the world, and yet they cost average 30 000 pounds!!
The lowest engine capacities we have here are 1400s (and maybe the rare dihatsu)

Would reccomend NOT getting a 206...personally think they drive like shit - learned in one of them...well that was abit harsh...they ok i spose but much better drives out there than the 206.
You mentioned the polo is abit 'girly'

but they are a good drive, have had to drive one for a week before

Or you could go for the "ever-popular" *hint the sarcasm

* Ford Ka....god I hate those!
