dctim211, both of your phones support GPRS (Wireless Internet Express) and it's worth getting over the regular Wireless Internet. It's much faster and you can be online as long as you like. Like during the more boring classes, hehe. Wish they had it when I was in HS...
It's $7/1MB/month and coverage in Irvine is good. Cingular has recently had problems with GPRS in some cell sites in Tustin and Newport but supposedly the ones in Tustin have been fixed. Not the one in Newport though.
If you drop your SMS package they'll cost $0.10 each to send or receive. You can get more info here:

Yeah my friends were complainging about Cingular's charge for receiving SMS. I guess one good thing with AT&T is that receiving is free (sending is $0.10/each too).

Welcome to Esato and the SoCal thread, Vasilije.
We've gotten a lot of replies in the thread already so I thought I'd ask who would be interested in a little get together this or next weekend. I haven't done this before but thought it might be fun. If you have time and feel like it, say which weekend would be better! I was thinking of either a coffee shop or going for a beer (obviously only if everyone is 21). Since the thread started out being for OC, maybe somewhere like Orange would be ideal. It's central to SoCal, and I live nearby, hehe... And don't forget your phone / PDA / headset / whatever.

I am staying for an internship here in Southern California, in Los Angeles...
I have a t68m upgraded, and I am 24...
The idea of meeting is really interesting, but personally I don't have any car here... And even if I had one I guess I wouldn't find my way around...
Nice to see that I am not the only one with a t68 here anyway...

Where are you staying in LA, pinolo77? I was in Switzerland this summer and did my upgrade there.

Do you think it is worth waiting for the jawbone BS? Someone said Q1 of 03. Is that right?

I would like to know myself, especially since I've read articles which gave me the impression that all BS's use jawbone vibrations. I only know there will be a new jawbone version from a post by jh67 but he didn't give a date. You're probably best off asking him, after all, he designed it...
