If you look at the last part of the word, there is a letter that is longer than the rest. Taiwan - the i is in the wrong place; China - the i is also in the wrong place. But if you use Sweden, d is almost in the exact place as it is on the phone. I am pretty sure "this" phone is made in Sweden. However, SE could use more than one contry to put this phone together especially with Sony's encouragement. A lot of things designed by Sony are made in Taiwan and China. I wouldn't be surprised if there are different produation plants.
I too wish this phone is made else where, other than Taiwan and China. Why, because I am from Taiwan and I know the steps their use. And China's products have lower quality than Taiwan's.

Yepp, SE moved their manufactoring from sweden to france recantly.
So the in the pictureds should be manufactured in sweden, because thier factory for p800 was their a month ago.
