just did it and when i have the new skin and it worked, saw the new skin but when i open and close the walkman application the skin reverts back to the default skin, i cn use the skin if again if i restart the phone, but the worst part is that my camera crashes when i take a picture, and it wont save.
anyone experienced this

yup im having such problem aswell, but so far i dont see any solution about this .. by far only reboot the phone solution.. didnt see any permanent solution though.. its probably due to the size of the media player icon and etc..

thats exactly what happens to me as well and when you are on the camera, if you press view the pictures are blank, and in pictures in file manager all my pictures seem to be corrupted. but this reverts back to normal when i restart the phone

i just removed the skin, what skin have you tried? i tried 1 from topony the clubpulse skin, any other skins that you have tested that have the same symptoms?

all modded skins will eventually have the same effect....
as a theory, modders connect this to the K750's memory performance.. since weve add up images other than that of the default causes the memory to go haywire and eventually disrupt the whole system. Symptoms can be easily found by using the camera and browsing picture files...
and these can be all reverted to its original form after a phone reset. (turn off then on).
so for safe keepin and if youre really pissed with this crashes... modders suggest not to mod your media player skins.

thats what i did , i removed the files and everything went to NORMAL as they say, i did the reset thing butit is a hassle to do it everytime, so i guess im stuck with this orange player, but why do some never experience what my phone has.

I've just tried something to fix this media player crashing - it SEEMS to be working - haven't been able to make it crash yet with this tweak.
What I did was reduce the number of colours to 16. Working on the hypothesis that the crashing is a resource problem, I thought how can I decrease the size of the image further. It ocurred to me that if I reduced the number of colours in the palette the file would be smaller and need less cpu time to process as well.
I reduced the colour depth of the images in an early peugeot skin (list_background, fullscreen_back, and low_back) from 256 to 16 colours.
EDIT: Okay I couldn't get it to crash, but as soon as I used the camera, IT crashed. And then the media player skin went south as well
But it was more stable than before.
Maybe two colours? That'd be a bit limiting though.

black and orange would be good as lon as the base color is black and the words are orange that would be good.

texts cannot be edited sorry.... you have to take the default text colors and start modding from there, compenstate it as your base colors...
and i guess itll come out a lil boring...
