There is a noticable difference bettween the 7210 and the T68 screen.
The colors are much more sharper on the 7210 unlike the T68's wierd use of false colors, but I don't think it's any brighter.

The T100 screen, now thats bright. As for the S100, I like that screen, you can see quite a lot even if it's not as bright as the T100's, but it's for a good reason (Look at the battery time on the T100, very lousy).

And Passive matrix = STN (Note the passive).
If it was TFT, it would not have such a good battery life.

First of all I just wanna say that I agree that the 7210's display looks much better that the T68i's one... But guys today the standard screen in South Asia is at least 65000 colors... Samsung's SCH-V300 CDMA2000 X1 EV-DO phone has a 262,000 color TFT-LCD touch screen.. wich is much better that any other phone to date... And if you look at 3G phones in general, most of them have TFT displays...

All I can say is in a year from now when 3g phones are out all over the place I am sure all the phone/pda devices we will be using will have nice kick ass TFT screens. Just be a lil patient.
I still say SE please gives us a new Version of the T68 next year with TFT screen, 65k colors, 5 megs of memory, polyphonic tones, and Java! Thats it! I will place an order now if I knew they were making this happen in the next 6 months.

If they integrate a camera without bulking it up too much, I will be placing an order with you!
