I testet the trial of wayfinder on my p990 and it worked with a few glitches... The voice-sound had problems... It was kind of strobed... Eh. tu...rn ne....xt..... le....ft..
I have tested wayfinder on a w800 before and there it worket perfectly! Must be some problems with the wayfinderprogram for UIQ3. Hope they fix it. I like wayfinder more then wisepilot...
I'm also waiting for
http://www.nav4all.com/
They have a free system (that may start to cost about 10 euros a year...)
Have anyone tested nav4all?
I did try to set up Nav4All but it does not work on the P910i and they do not answer when you ask for info as to when it will be available

gave nav4all a quick balst on my new toy (P990).
Nav4all seems basic - it is free, wayfinder seemed better on my p900, plus it has trafic updates which have in hte past proved invaluable. Nav 4 all is free untill 2008 now, so I guess I will keep it as a backup, cant wait to have a decent jorney to test the trial of wayfinder on wednesday hopefully get chance to test the more expensive wise pilot soon too. Keep you posted.

@joel80 still having problems with wayfinder? works perfect on my p990 with the on duo trial.
nav4all works ok but is very basic and being java is a pain (esp without a stylus)
wisepilot will not find and net connections even though every other program will, so its gone. also its java and a pain.

I havn't tested any more but Wayfinder supportcenter confirmed the problem on p990 and promised me a new testversion when the problem is fixed. They thought that would take 2-3 weeks to come out..
The program itself started up fine but when navigating the sound didn't work. Does it work for you? Do you have a GPS-reciver or just running a demo navigation?

@joel: worked perfect, on a 2hr jorney with a v cheap gps device. even works if I open other apps at the same time, so seems bombproof virsion number: 6.06.2154 en 2006-06-02 from the memory card. I will send u it if you want.

Just in case you missed my note in other thread.
I emailed TomTom:
Response 21/09/2006 08.22 PM
Dear Mr Key,
Thank you for contacting TomTom Customer Support.
We are working on an UIQ3 version of NAVIGATOR 6. Unfortunately we cannot tell yet when this version is expected to be released.
I was going to get Wayfinder but now they have confirmed a UIQ3 version I'll keep using a P910i with TomTom for now then get it for my P990 when available

Just Wayfinder at the moment I think (& free Nav4All but its limited).
I've used Wayfinder during trial period with my BT GPS and it worked fine, just not as good as TomTom in my opinion.
