I could be wrong but I didn't think Vodafone's P910's were branded? Just had a Vodafone theme on them? It's been awhile since I've sold one to check everything
Also again I stress I'm fairly sure this time that the P990 will be out on the 21st and it'll be £400 box only. Unless every bit of marketing is wrong including us getting silent salesmen!!

To confirm the date of the 21st of Aug, Voda UK have also said the same to me that the offical UK release will be the 21st Aug. I am informed that they will ship one to me on the release date. Only 19 days to go

I spoke with O2 this morning and they have a release date of Monday 11 September 2006. Apparently Carphone Warehouse are quoting September too, so be prepared to wait!!!

SE are going to have real problems with manufacturing with the overlap between the M600, P990 & W950. The W950 could be a real big seller if priced right - but this may mean a shortage of P990s for a few months as production of W950 kicks-in.

but P990's are made in France whereas the rest are made in Asia, aern't they, so there should be no impact to P990s

@masseur, i lost the link but the web site for the French Sony factory stated exclusive manufacture of the M600 and P990. So I assumed it would make sense for them to make the W950 as well.

Something is not right here, there is no mention of the p990 in any shop to my knowledge, and certainly nothing on Vodafone .co.uk online shop as of yesterday and I do not belive the 21st August story being sold buy Vodafone for one minute even their staff dont sound convincing!

I doubt the P990 will be sold online by Vodafone to be fair, or if it is I'm sure it'll be later then in the shops.
