Not sure if I would go that far... there are a number of us who have working sets... my mmr-60 is R2A and my m600i is firmware R9F011. I first had my hands on an mmr-60 (R2B) that DID NOT but the current one I have DOES work. Granted this is not deterministic in terms of where the fault is... but either way you can get certain mmr-60 devices to work with the phones you mention... good luck finding them though.

ok guys, forget about the transmitter and the symbian phones! i just brought back this thing to the shop. my friend has a W950 and the guy in the shop gave me the accessory list of sony ericsson and all three, M600i, W950 and P990i don't have a flag in support for the transmitter!
so don't bother thinking about it. if it works with some and with others not, then it's rather unusual that it's working
