Works over wlan without issue. IM+ will always attempt to use your default "internet group" so if wlan is your first priority it will work without issue. The problem is IM+ unlike some other apps does not specifically allow you to define which internet account group you want to use.
Secondly, no application can use the wlan whent he P990i is in flight mode because wlan is switched off, along with the other internal radios too.
@Johnex/joel80 - Ahh I know see your issue. Only solution I can think of is to have IM+ use your default internet group, but assign different account groups for all other applications (a real pain though) - at least you'd have a better indication of data usage, but I guess the ideal option would be for IM+ to be able to select which account group it used, in which case you'd be able to set it up with its own internet account group.

According to this thread at my-symbian.com, the problem is not Agile, rather the firmware. Apparently SE is aware of it.

I always used agile in flightmode before the fw upgrade. Its just to activate wlan when in flightmode.

Its inactivate by default when switch to flightmode, but can be activated again while there.

That doesn't seems to work so well..
Sometimes the kb is stuck at 0kb even after one hours use... and if it works it start showing in 0,1mb after the first 100kb. So then I won't know if I have used 101kb or 199kb...
Agile is real accurat and seems to use way less bandwith then IM+.

I can't connect via GPRS! I have only used wifi up until now and when trying to connect when wifi is off it's not connecting to any gprs-account!
The globe that is appearing at the bottow when connecting with GPRS doesn't appear and after a while the program says it can't connect.
When looking in the control panel in security IM isn't in the MIDlet-settings.
Any ideas?
Edit: I solved the problem temporarly by starting the browser and then when i was already connected there where no problem to connect to ICQ or MSN. Still irritating that IM cant connect itself!

You can use the QuickIM but there are some issues with it. You have to first open the web browser so a connection is established to the net and then start the client. You can get from
