@ manish - I have no idea just disapointed, probally as I feel that I under achieved or something... i duno
@ mas - yeh debts a big problem, especially now that we have to pay £3k a year in tuition fees alone. But one thing to consider is on adverage those people who go to uni earn somethinkg like 400k more (overall) to thouse who don't.
I don't really know why im going, just seems like a good idea to do so

no debt on me, my dad is paying for all the fees.
my dad will be paying 900000 INR for the full(4 years) computer engineering course.
its around 11 Grands.
in India most of the students dont go for a part time job and that stuff, so parents have to pay for the fees and all the additional costs.

I'll also be doing a computer engineering course, Now that I've got my results and I've achieved maximum possible grades I dont feel like going to uni, which I am actually gonna go to the reason being that I can get into a much better university like Kings College or UCL or if I really stretch it then Cambridge!
Thats one reason im totally unhappy about that I'd be missing a life time opportunity to go to 'A great' university otherthan that the university I am going to has offerend me £3k Scholarship per year, which will cancel out my tuition fees which means by the end of the degree I wont be in many debts as Im also considering staying home for the first year..
Being an asian, I can always ask my dad to pay for my tuition fees as it seems like a tradition for most the asians however I like to be independant and responsible and being in debts would be the perfect way to start

Oooooooo not many people have posted their results, you all drowning your sorrows or something?
@solid don't be too upset, least you have got a place at univeristy which is the main thing. You will have a great time where ever you go.
I kind of feel left out today lol i found out in June i was going and it was pretty much settled last year in September i would be going as an access course is completely different from A levels. They won't let you fail.
It's all about the money for the college on whether people pass plus it was way easier than A levels which is worrying as i may struggle with a degree.
Cannot wait to get started though!
EEEEEKKKKK!!!

Well i'm happy, I do an IT course, equivelant to an A level.
And it's a double course, so 2 A levels (get another 3 next year).
Overall I got BB, mates all got BC, and CC so i'm happy there.
Broken down I got:
B
B
A
B
A
Was expecting a C, B hadn't really crossed my mind, so to get 2 B's, dead happy.
900/1200 for everything it works out so a mid B too
Not great, not shite.
But comming from a usual C/D person....my mums bloody happy

Just got in, got BBD... guess it's alright. I'm not complaining, just happy to get into uni

Was a bit cheesed off to find i was both 3 and 5 marks off AAD. And it's also gay that my ict coursework (at B standard) got a U because it wasn't handed in properly, therefore giving me a D but what can you do.
I seriously would've thought doing 0 work all year and revising last minute for exams would teach me a lesson.... turns out it gets me a place in uni, meh.
@Masseur... The debts not really a big issue as paying it back won't be a problem, it's really peanuts every week. And as for it being worth it... DEFINATELY! To be honest i'm not going to uni for the degree etc, just for a good time.
A guy I met on the weekend asked what I was going to study, I said "Business Management" He just said "haha, you just wanna go uni don't you!"
For me it'll be about enjoying the freedom, and not having to grow up too fast.
@Jag... does doing the foundation course garuntee you a place at the university the next year? As my mates doing that for art now and i'm curious if it's the same.
Hope everyone else got what they wanted.
