@shivam i am not able to do wat u says.plz tell me how to install modem driver for mobile to connect it to PC.i wanrt to use DCU-11 cable to connect it through USB port.if u have any suggestion then plz telll me. everybody can suggest their techniques,.

I borrowed a CellOne sim from my friend to test this trick. It is under "Excel-Anant"(lifetime) plan. I have already sent "portal" to 3733. But I didn't got any confirmation sms. So usually how many days are required for the activation?

i think for PORTAL activation you have no need to wait.i have sended PORTAL to 3733 and i tried to connect and i made it easily.as it is free of cost.

Guys, just called the CC and they said that the portal service is not available for the excel numbers(specially for my series). It's only available for postpaid and new series. So what do u think?
By the way, are u guys getting any confirmation message after sending "PORTAL" to 3733? I'm not getting any msg!

ya i do get reply from 3733. Actually those bsnl chaps give preference to post paid consumer.
Why don't you try getting settings from www.cellone.in/select.html just disregard what the cc tell you. I believe everything is possible.

Apn: portalwest.cellone.in
or mmswest.cellone.in
proxy: 10.132.194.196
port 8080
and theres no need to try the multichanelling thing with this
just try to connect directly
also check with other towers in ur city

Guys, whenever I send PORTAL to 3733, i'm getting reply as "Invalid reguest". I have tried GPRS,GPRSE,ACTGPRS also. But getting reply same as above. What might be the reason?

Thanks for the screenshot.
It's not fullfledged. So same as Airtel Live.

By the way, I decided to return that sim to my friend. BSNL isn't accepting GPRS activation requests from my number. So I can't be able to test ur trick.
