Funnily enough a week ago someone sent me a file via BT and after i received it and saved it, i found i couldnt delete it either in FO or FC mode. I had to re-boot the p990i in order to do it, since then i havent had any problems.
Mind you that was through BT rather than getting a sms text that i couldnt delete.

1. the 'qwerty' keyboard.
since i'm a 'predictive text' type, this really comes very handy.

hi.
i got my p990i last week and i am just wondering if any of you guys are having any trouble with the 3g video calls? i wanted to learn more about my new phone so one time i tried using the 3g video call function. it was the first time for me to do a video call and i was amazed by it. according to my friend, it took some time before she could see me on her phone ( a nokia) but i immediately saw her image on the p990i. it was fun although i could barely hear her voice thru the phone's speaker.
but while i was in the middle of a conversation with my friend, the p990i's screen froze and i lost the connection of the video call. in other words, the p990i hanged. i can't remember if other applications were still on when i made the call. have any of you guys experienced the same thing with your p990i?
another thing...
i'm in the philippines and a globe subscriber. i called up globe's hotline to ask for the configurations for the MMS, GPRS, etc... on the p990i. i was disappointed when they said that they still do not have the settings for the new p990i. i managed to get the MMS configurations from the sony ericsson website but i not with the GPRS settings.
a little help from you guys will be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Discovered a wonderful trick that Masseur had described earlier.
Plugged-in the wired headset into the P990, switched on the FM Radio, linked my BT HBH-DS970 to the P990 to listen to the FM wireless and you can switch stations using the skip track switch on the DS970! Now this really is 'handy' little bounus

hi how much did you get the p990i? Why is that globe doesn't have the configuration. Maybe you should try the setting on the m600i because they have the same Operating system. Anything else happen to your phone after hang from using videocall??
