I have a DS970, worked fine with the P990i but I am having proving with the K800i. Voice calls remains on the phone (incoming or outgoing).
I have S700i and it got almost the same problem with HBH-660. The first time I pair the phone and headset then all is working well. After a while (few minutes standby) the phone does not use the headset anymore and I need to repair both to work again. It is slightly better than HBH-60 that does not even work after the first call.
Seems that even the latest firmware will not cure it. My wife Z610 seems to work OK with HBH-660.
I am about to buy K800 and stereo headset but got worried now. Could you tell me what version is your K800 firmware and have you resolved it?

Dude,
all this talk about firmware versions is pretty much useless. Either purchase it, see if works or not or don't purchase it. Not trying to sound hard but there are many, many, many in this forum that do nothing but sniff around for new firmware. They live for the firmware update so that they can then live again for the next one. Get the headset and see if it works. If not, then take it back or take your phone back. I have the k800i and the HBH-DS970 and they work great together. BT does not use much power, transmission wise, so a dropout here or there is normal.

Well, I don't buy this nonsense. If you sell something it must work as per spec. My S700 is written to be compatible with HBH-660 so I expect it to work perfectly. This thing (don't work after few minutes) happen all the time and repeatable. It is not just signal drop here and there. The distance between my mobile and my headset is not more than 1m (when driving). So there is no excuse for it not working. I am 100% sure the problem lies with S700 because sometime it revert to bluetooth-off mode by ITSELF and that should be fixable by firmware.
Imagine when you are driving with the bluetooth headset and it does not transfer your call to the headset. My old T610, T630, and Z610 works so why S700 won't? BTW I have bought K800 but haven't tried the HBH-660 wit t yet.
Also my country is not US where you can return product with no question ask. Here you buy, and if it does not work, they service. If still does not work then they just say "tough luck and please sell it yourself."
