while I understand the sentiment of the thread and clearly know the type of person being discussed (and its not just one person btw), I can say I can only ever recall one complaint about one person and the request to me was to ask that person to stop PMing that person.
given the title of thread "The stop perving petition" do we also consider threads filled with gratuitious girlie pics to be pervy? an example that comes to mind would be
this one
given fatreg's last comment I can only assume that such posts should also be restricted?
I also feel that to a large extent such posts also fit most of the comments of his opening post?

I never really thought about the different type of pictures and threads that have been posted. It is more to do with the fact that whenever a member admits to being female or a female joins the forum they get bombarded by pm's!
I had so many pm messages when i changed my username from thecopperfield to miss copperfield, why? Somehow it changes peoples attitude towards you which is really stupid.

all i ask for is a little decency and courtesy towards our female members.. yes i am male but i know only too well what its like to be a female and get attention.. and NO i have never been female before we go down this route. i just happen to have had a special upbringing...

I'm not disagreeing with what you are saying, and if I got more complaints I would deal with them, but my opinion in general was that members know and "understand" these people and take little notice and/or treat their posts with as much respect as they deserve
PM's are a different, and more serious matter, and we have no access to those so it really does require a complaint to a moderator
I do feel though, that this topic should be widened to include the issue I have raised. should pics such as these be allowed? are they pervy and perhaps give a more liberal attitude of the forum that we might want?

while i say this i feel the forum should still uphold the standards it tries to have now and merely group posts that moderators feel may offend some.
as for PM'ing people just because they are female, i find that quite sad. what chance is there that the said female would even like the male involved, let alone want to send pictures around the internet. i feel that practises such as that should be stopped.

Honestly, the thread (link) that I refered to, that you made reference to earlier in this thread (questioning wether appropiate )was very offensive to me when I first saw this in esato and should be completely eliminated from the forum........

Next time it will be more prudent I guess to PM the person concerned so ISSUES will be discussed amongst YOU/US . . . the Mods is a proper channel to too tackle issues like this one . . .
