If the phone has no physical branding and only a start up and shut down screen, what's the problem?

The problem is the phone has Vodafone branding, it makes no difference if it is just the startup & closedown screens and internet settings .. it's not something I want on my phone.
If Im paying £400 for something I would like it to be what I am looking for and not a compromise.

You may be happy with branding on your phone but I am not .. especially when I do not use Voda as my network.

As I said before, thanks to Super for trying.

I for one do not mind if it has a vodafone start up screen because I do not switch the phone off and on regularly. As far as I understand, there is no other way of knowing that it came from vodafone except for the startup and shut down. I'm also 100% sure that you'll be able to flash it yourself later if the start up and shut down is such a problem.

As for the internet settings, he said he'd get back to us on that.
