The problem is (with regards to the Jesus camp) to them that’s normal, to most of us that’s pretty f’d up. But to me going to church once a week and praying to something you cant see or praying five times every day to something that no one has ever seen or worshiping a cow is pretty messed up.
It all depends on ones belief. To them a Hindus rituals are strange or a Jews…etc
With regard to the hypocrisy with the photos of the girls writing on rockets, every religious group has its nutters who will bring up their children with twisted ideas.
I’m sure if I wanted to (but can’t really be arsed) I could find hundreds of photos of Muslim children at hate marches holding place cards or chanting death to the
Kafir. (although I’d pretty much have a hard time finding Hindus or Buddists). Fact is each side have done wrong.

Im not saying its not,most of it is perfectly sensible as sammy_boy is the most sensible and neutral members here....but that doesn't meant to say that i should have to agree with every single point....but like i mentioned we have covered the same topic in various threads in the past and its pointless going over it again.

The whole point of this thread (I think) is to show that it's not just Muslims that can look bad but ALL religions.
It's funny, I see this "Look at Muslims they're chanting hate rhymes", "yeah but so do the Jews, look here", "so what? Look at the Muslims!!!"
Edit: and it's not religion that is bad, it's the people who MISUSE religion that are bad.

I just wish more people would see things that way, i.e. in a more objective way free of bias, prejudice, and rhetoric. Problem is there are a lot of very biased and opinionated people around who are determined to force their views on others, and sadly they are often in positions of power, like in government, or religious leaders, etc. I think I'm after an impossible ideal there!

Well that’s because they make up the large part of people doing bad acts in the name of religion! Christians, Jews and Muslims are all bad as each other!

Yet in the forth post theres properganda posted in favour of muslims, yet that’s fine.

It’s not my thought that most of the hate comes from Muslims is it? I would love to find some things on Hindu terrorists or Buddhist terrorists but they hardly exist!

No your right, but there will never be peace with religion because us humans simple cant get along with others who have different beliefs and its enforced by their religions not to do so!

I don't want to get into too much detail as will it just result in flaming with the kind of people we have here...i can see that...But to keep it simple...In a perfect world what you said would be great but thats not the kind of world we live in...you know as well as i do we are far from it....Its just not possible!

perhaps the simple answer is just this all relgions have nutters within them and yes good decent muslims christians jews etc ive got news for you so do your religions
its about time all these religions got together and started to sort out the problem.
change can only come from within these religions very little can be done from outside forces as they believe they are been governed by a far higher power.
quite frankly i d be pleased to see the back of all the major religions in the world as they bring nothing but misery and false hope to people while some people sit at the top and line there already over filled pockets.
