If you try to transfer files over Infrared using Windows Wireless link, it causes the phone to reboot and the link is broken

Stupid question I guess but...
I'm picking up my w850i tomorrow, and if it seems I have a buggy or old firmware, is the best/only place to update this on SE's site?
And, what is EUROPE1?

I love my W850i, only i'm also waiting for the next firmware.. i think the menu is slow...en there is a error in the language Dutch when i save a Note.. it's says: 'Not saved' but he actually saved

1. If you want to unbrand your phone you should have to use a third party tool (DaVinci, WotanServer, etc.) to reflash your phone to an unbranded firmware...if not, using SE's update service will be enough for your interest...
2. EUROPE1 is a type of customization...phone firmwares are divided into region customizations with different languages between them...some for the ASIAN market, others for EUROPEAN, AFRICAN, AMERICAN markets, etc., I used EUROPE1 because I needed Spanish language.
3. I'm using MyPhoneExplorer with my W850 and its working great!! I didn't tried FMA because with my previous phone (K750) there was a lot of bugs...

It would be great if you could define the functions of the two top buttons near the front camera. I for example don't want them to open the image gallery. As of now, I don't use them at all and I think it's a wasted opportunity!

Maybe a stupid question, but.. How do I use the EUROPE1? Where do I DL it from, and how do I instal it?

Well, as I said in a previous post, you need to use a third party tool like DaVinci or WotanServer, you buy a credit to use the program and download and apply the new firmware to your phone...there's a lot of information in this forum about how to use this tools, just use the search function and you will find what you need!

you can't lock the keys when phone is closed if buttons have been assigned short cuts
light doesn't turn on when trying to unlock phone (fine once your used to the unlocking but for newbies no) think it was a dim light on k750
i would have liked a dedicated play pause button like previous phones
not too sure what else, only just started playing with phone, pretty impressive though, mmm
