i've read that the 7210 doesn't support animated GIFs. is this true? this would certainly become a major drawback in the future, when MMS becomes the norm. then there's also the inability to send/forward attached sounds in your MMS messages. not really a future-proof phone, in my opinion.
i've tried taking a photo for my phone book using someone else's MCA-20. there's a specific setting [can't remember the name] for 101x80 pictures. it looked pretty good.
however, a 640x480 one didn't take to the screen too well. i guess the resolution on the phonebook ones are low enough to look good. that right?

f I want to call my girlfriend or whoever I have in my phonebook, it takes no more than 2 seconds to get the call started (without using key shortcuts!)!
And voice dial is limited to much less people than the phonebook allows...

But really, I have to agree with some of the points aaronkhoo made.
The polyphonic ringtones aren't exactly loud, they are nice, but not loud enough. I can't even hear it when I'm in the streets in this town, with all the buses and cars, sirens, and the stupid bell sound the buses make, and the people talking, etc. Even in the stores, its still rather difficult to hear. Don't get me going about nightclubs, just impossible to hear, but I can hear the high pitched monotones of any phone, including my T68i.
As for java on a phone, I don't really care about it. What good is it? Again, I have yet to hear a good reason for Java on a phone. If its just to download games, I'd much prefer to use my IPAQ. As of right now, java on any phone is just totally limited due to the size and the limitation of the complexity a program can be on the phone. If they allowed us to totally reprogram our phones using Java, then I'd actually would find some use for it, but they don't.
As for you not needing bluetooth and you boasting about how not many people use it, guess what, I use it quite a lot, and I know many people that are starting to use a lot of bluetooth systems, from wireless networks to automatically updating your scuedule/contacts on your phone when you walk into your home or office (Which I am attempting to do). Of course there is also Wi-Fi, but both these systems have its advantages and disadvantages.
But I do think a FM radio is rather good to have on a phone when for example you are waiting in line and have nothing better to do. (Better than playing games, showing off your phone and increasing the risk of you getting robbed, especially in Europe). But still, not really needed for me as I prefer to listen to my MP3 player instead.
As for a phone being faster, have you tried a Siemens? Very fast, but of course its going to be faster when the phone has nothing on it.

About bluetooth, in my personal opinion, it's just way over-hyped and the accessories is way over-priced. But it is a relatively new technology so maybe it'll get better... And about java, if you still can't acknowledge the wide amount of content already available and it's future possibilities(it's not all about games!!), there's nothing i can do to help you out! About the fm radio, some like it some don't, but it's still nice to have that possibilito to listen to the radio whenever you want IMO! =)

But I think the whole unpopularity of bluetooth at the moment is the price, take Wi-Fi in the US for example, it has taken off quite well and is quite cheap to use...
As for changing the polyphonic tones to be just one long ringing tone, sort of defeats the whole purpose of having a polyphonic tone. It just needs to be much louder, but I have no idea if that would be possible to do...
