hi there i would love this project to move along, i am all for a new mp3 player, then it would be easier to modify the code and customize it the way you want and tweak the equalizer and maybe just a thought a player that plays different formats! anyways a great idea keep up the good ideas and look forward to seeing this projects progress

I wish that somebody could make a software that transforms my w800 into a p990 or a w950. But yoy see... every hardware has it's limitations and you could never turn a w800's processor into a desktop processor that would do all that stuff.

well...moto handsets r not tht much restricted for java programmin unlike SE wich plays mp3s or other sound formats rather slow on 3rd party apps....motorola developers r plenty but there r not many SE java developers......makes tht totally depressing and irritating.....SE handsets r so much restricted tht u cannot even change the fonts or direct a different path for onboard softkeys.......BUT its possible to play mp3s faster as the inbuilt media player on java SE fones is by default very fast indeed hence makes a possibility of faster nd better java apps in future......
