@golden. Maybe you need to increase the volume. Meaning get loud and demanding.

Just received this:

Quote:Dear Mr M*******,

Thank you for choosing to shop at http://www.lxdirect.com

Further to your recent order request for a Toshiba A100 Laptop catalogue number PR427, please be advised that there was a price error on our website and the price shown was incorrect. We are therefore declining your order request in accordance with clauses 2.2 and 3.2 of our terms and conditions, which can be viewed on the website help pages. The laptop price has now been amended if you wish to order at the correct price.

However, if you wish you can re-submit the order without the promotion if the goods are still required, simply Click Here.

We look forward to seeing you online soon!

Kind regards,
The Online Customer Care Team.

As if I am gonna reorder that again at that price!

And how can they 'see me online'?

I bloody hope they can't see me or they'd have been looking at lots rude gestures aimed at them.

Ah well. Maybe next time.

I ordered 2 from littlewoods but haven't had any confirmation as yet. Some of my colleagues have also ordered several (someone ordered 6) but none of us know whether we will receive them.

Lets hope that littlewoods dont withdraw!

Yeah. I know someone who was actually charged before they were informed of the pricing error. I wanna see if they will take it further.

@leeboy

There is no harm in trying, lots of these blunders happen everyday. Remember that free flights to the US one not so long ago?

I received an email asking me if I still wanted to purchase the laptop then they would knock 25% off the current website price - as a good will gesture.

So I went and checked the price on the website and it was over £100 more expensive than what it was before. It was £479 last time. Now its £579

They must think we're absolutely raving mad. Ah well!

@Peterkay.

Talk about exploiting a bad situation! Then I was watching the TV last night and the same laptop is only £499 in PCWorld.

I thought things were supposed to be cheaper online..... they need to have a good strong word with themselves
