> walkman sound on other mobiles?

I Go for W series Coz of Funky desigen , More Capacity , Good Music Managment , Good Headset , MORE PLAYBACK Time and really less intrest in Cam .. and i prefer ma w850i coz of da QVGA screen and da Enhanced OS .. and honstly i ve try'd all da w series before and didnt get betta sound dan ma latest w850i . PEACE

i too read that thread,after lot confuses the topic was found useless...i have no idea about walkman sound but w850(as i mentioned posts ago) but k800 music player is almost same as all walkman 1 phones,i use music player 24 a day listening to music,i never had your problem about static.songs change in a short acceptible time,k800 music player does this even better than my mobi-blu mp3 player even in fixing or fading song crashes....about song sorts,it doesn't matter wether songs are named from 01 to 10 or not,what matters is that you give a specific number from 1 to... for each song on its ID3 tag

that was what i was wondering about, since i sorted my tracks according to proper track numbering using itunes. if i'm not mistaken, itunes also uses id3 tags? why the confusion in track selection if i don't have shuffle on?
and the player doesn't have gapless playback too, so i think i'm sticking to the ipod for the time being

I've been using winamp to edit the id3 tag files. All Mp3s are posted in the right way.

i don't think it should make a difference what program is used to edit the tags, since both uses id3 version 2 if i'm not mistaken. any other ideas why this could be? my tracks are properly numbered from 01-10 and yet the track starts at 01, goes to 10, before going back to 02...

Yes you can do it if that phone can take the connector. But you dont need them just to give you good sound. I listened to my Nokia last night with some MP3 with the Nokia own headphones and the sound was fantastic and that was just a downloaded file from Orange at less than 1mb. Nokia phones sound just as good as SE and i know good sound as i am heavily into expensive hifi.

dude you can only do that in flight mode, other wise battery time is the same as non walkman phones.
K800 has flight mode so yes other phones can do it....

Even if I use same headset (HPM-70).
The walkman series sounds more natural, and the bass is more powerfull.
It's like the walkman series use different "sound engine" or something....

It's pretty obvious that it's not the K series at fault but just the K800. The K750 sound is exactly the same as W series phones, so you can't really blame K series per se.
