I once had a bill of N32,000 (about $213) for a month. It was mostly for GPRS usage.

Both my wifes and my phone (whatever I happen to be using at the time) are on one contract with Orange which is called OVP if I remember correctly. It basically works like a payg but any call charges are taken out monthly by direct debit and there is no monthly charge.
Our combined charges have never gone above £2.50 for the month.

my highest was like £450, that was when i was in Egypt, but the highest I have seen on a customers mobile account is £10,560 for one month.
