That might not be a firmware issue; it could well be hardware. There's no point SE releasing new firmware if there aren't any issues to fix.

I found the solution. The phone restarted a lot after I used the Walkman-theme. Then after having experienced 20 restarts I decided to change theme. And that did the trick!

Hi, is R1JC002 the latest firmware available?
I have this version and SEUS tell me that it's the latest but on
http://www.wotanserver.com/en[....]/sonyericsson-w880-debranding/ the latest version is R1KG001

I've just successfully updated.

Don't know what's new. Testing it right now.

A change log would be appreciated.

Just updated the firmware as well.

The phone seems a bit faster, have to check the music playback.

The wakman song searching seems to be faster. (eg, my music - tracks - albums, etc)

Very interesting! This might well be true as I've had this problem ONLY when using the gsharp theme! Never used walkman. I'm using orange bubble now with no problems!
