@xan - Yeah . . . we all know that FIRE (light one) cannot totally KILL a fone . . . well how about leaving it in your trousers and let it have a SPIN in the washing machine for 10 mins with water and soap

Sorry for the damage on your phone. I feel the pain of your loss.

My T610 fell from my pocket while leaving the car. Cracked the LCD. I couldn't find an original LCD but replaced with some imitation and it works fine(brightness not as good). It fell again onto a tiled floor and disintergarted into pieces, I put it together and it still works fine.

This proves SE's are tough phones though I have always thought them frigile. Let me know when and where you get an original casing. Got one for the T610 from a local accesoriess shop but the name faded within a short time.
