release notes? you're having a laugh!

I spoke to SE support today when I was having my 51% problem and first they did not know there was a new firmware and second, when they looked it up they didn't have access to any release notes either!

ok, i might try updating my software later maybe in 2 months maybe. i must see if there are any problems with my current software.

i agree with Khayman, this is how it should feel!

the jog dial can wizz through lists, even on web pages! feels like a different phone almost?!

memory used by programs seems to be optimised but ActiveSync and Messaging are still to power hungry IMO, will be interesting to see how mem management works.

I tried to update my phone... a hong kong version and the firmware still hasn't updated for this version yet.

How long would they take to do one for the traditional chinese version?

Btw, does anyone know how much RAM does the new messaging client take with the latest firmware? It seems to take up a lot on my one (Feb firmware) and basically, you cannot run many apps after loading the messaging client.

i don't think it's necessary to wait 2 moths... 1 or 2 weeks should be enough. it will be a lot of people asking in this thread how the new firmware behaves...

i'm updating right now and it passed 51%

Transitions should have been an option from the start and im not suprised its now 'Off' as standard. Simply makes the phone quicker, more usable and therefore better.

I must be lucky I managed to upgrade on my second attempt. Noticed fonts look better as well speed improvements. Have had 20 mbytes RAM free.

think of it like a fade in fade out effect for the menus and drop downs.
this delay the end result, such as opening an application, but it looks cool on the eye.
