Also don't forget more megapixles does NOT mean better photos.
probably the best advice in the thread

- phone cameras are for quick happy-snappies - go for a decent camera for other shooting. i use a fuji s5600 and it's a heck of a lot better than that but about 2 years out of date now (although it's pretty new - decemberish time bought). is a pretty much happy-snappy camera but also does some seriously good make-shift studio photograph (although not as good as the canon 1d i got to use! *gasps*! lol!)
edit: personally i would say that the pictures i've taken of flowers with my

v600 (1.3mpx old old old) are comparable to the quality of those pictures shown there (only the flowers)

dont forget this is release firmware that these pics are coming from!!! the quality will improve with time and once ppl are used to changing the settings from auto to manual an having a mess around...
The N95 isnt very good at depicting blues as a colour and as such the sky always looks a little washed out or purple in colour... this is being fixed by nokia in their next FW release and will make the pics look amazin!!!
And comments about stand alone cameras being better are a load of bull!!! You are comparing somethin that is purpose built for a specific task against something that is built for multi tasking!!!
As far as a phone goes this is prob the best at the current time!

Not sure why there are people in this thread moaning about the camera. This is about sharing photo's.

actually I disagree.
Since the beginning of camera phones and camera attachments, these threads have always started out discussing the quality of the images and how to improve them with the settings available
later, once that technical discussion died down the threads became places to share photos with a little technical discussion continuing

Fabulous photo, shows how good the camera really is. Thats the sort of image quality I'd expect from a 5Mp.
