I owned an N70, only kept it for a week and then sold it on.
Hated it, the keypad was too small. Music player was shite with no graphic equaliser and the supplied headset was like an old piece of rope.
I promptly swapped to an SE.

Keypad, camera cover(too plasticky and creaky), 2nd camera which produces noisy images yet still used for portrait which make it worse for self-portrait in comparison with SE phones which uses the main cam equipped with the well known SE mirror. imho Nokia should not enable the 2nd camera for self-portrait instead for videocalling purposes only

what else? maybe poor music player, the inability to use the camera in horizontal mode while theres a capture button placed at the typical placement of shutter key on cameras. and of course the incapacity to fill up the 1Gb card - it lags terribly as far as my experience tell me

anyway i just post my opinions and as you have said you wont change your decision which we respects

N70 media player UI is really bad compared to SE phones. I couldn't seriously consider using the N70 for portable audio because of the UI.
Also the N70 crashes easily if you push it, and multi-tasking with more than a couple of aps isn't really practical on the N70. Memory runs out and it's only a matter of time before the handset crashes.
I've heard that some people haven't had crashing problems with the N70, but I've heard as many who have. I'm on the latest firmware and it still crashes. So you may be lucky with the N70, or you may get a lemon.
If you like smartphones for multi-tasking, you could look at a WM machine. Better software choice, and most HTC's are pretty stable these days. If you don't need a smartphone, don't limit yourself to the N70.
As boba fett has said, you need to handle one and really get an idea if the UI will suit you.

Honestly N70 must be one of the best looking N-series, great to hold in ur hand comfortable, got an OS with LOADS of applications, sum realy fun 3D high quality Symbian s60 games lyk Asphalt GT2 and it has a great amount of RAM an execellent multitasker, for me the only downside is the keypad and the old memory card it uses otherwise you have made a very good decision!
