You guys are Mad! (Or really rich...)
You rather spend 1150$ on a product which will come out in about a month in almost half the price with connection? Thats a total waste of money unless u r a devolper...

well dont forget that u are getting also swiss knife! )
Well i am developer as well but commercial version would be enough for me i dont realy need CodeWarrior (difference is i will have to debug dirrectly on p800 not on pc) this is just good bundle! thats all.
I guess that there are more ppl with some coding capabilities.. and its nothing better then KNOW HOW to extend, improove, make some things by yourself.

@Spacer: If you plan to develop C++ Symbian applications for the P800, you MUST buy the CodeWarrior. I only wish that SonyEricsson/Symbian could make some free tools based od gcc so that we could develop P800 C++ apps for free. I don't understand why they didn't, there would be a lot more apps for the P800 if they did...

If you want to run and debug C++ P800 apps on your PC in an emulator (and it is impossible to develop a little more complex app without the use of the emulator) you NEED CodeWarrior!

Borland C++ stuff for Symbian isn't out yet, and when it does come out, you'll still have to buy it to get it.

So, there is no free C++ development for P800, and therefore, there will be no cool freeware C++ apps for P800 made by enthusiasts, which is a shame really. I guess you'll have to pay more money if you want new apps for your P800.
