@D_G: This is just the kind of thing I am talking about. WHY would you want to surf the internet on your phone? I understand that people who travel a lot MIGHT need it, but, most of you guys have a computer at work and at home with a lot bigger screen and a lot faster internet connection than a P800 has. And, let face it, no matter how large P800's screen is, it is still too small to display a normal sized Web page. So, surfing on a P800 will be very clumsy to say the least.

Further on, I can see why listening to MP3s on your phone could be a useful feature, but, spread-sheets and word documents on your phone!?! Come on!!! Again, there might be some business people who travel a lot and they might need it, but, these people all have laptops and, no matter how good the P800 is, there is just no comparing it to a regular notebook.

I don't understand why some of you people always feel a need to drag Nokia into a SE discussion. We're talking about the P800 here, aren't we? Just for the record, I don't like Nokia phones and I have never owned one and I think that the T68i is the best mobile phone available today. As for the P800, I'm afraid that it is facing the same thing the 7650 is seeing today. I've seen a lot of people buy it when it first came out because it was the latest fancy gadget with an integrated camera, big color screen and a lot of other cool stuff. But, now, most of them are trying to sell it to somebody else because it is just too big and too heavy to carry around all the time as your mobile phone. I know a lot of you think that the P800 is the best phone ever, but, let's just wait and see what will you think a couple of weeks AFTER you have started using it as your phone. My guess is, most of you will go back to your T68...

@faca
ok now your being silly

remeber this phone is aimed at the business market

internet is crucial to the p800 it supports more formats than ever before.

viewers are also very important christ the times ive needed to view a pdf file out of the office! (without using a laptop) it a fantastic idea

dont rubbish these features just because you dont use them. they ARE important.

I suppose you are all going to tell me now that you are all travelling business men? And, please, tell me why did you need to view pdf files out of the office on your phone? Ever heard of a printer? But, I suppose it doesn't look as cool when you read something of your phone rather than from a peace of paper. And, we all want to look cool, don't we? Btw, I'm not 'rubbishing' these features, I'm just saying that they don't belong to a phone when they are obviously only increasing its size and weight. A mobile phone is a kind of thing you carry with you all the time. Therefore, it has to be SMALL AND LIGHT.

So, it is OK for you to speak of your opinions, but not for me to speak of mine? I don't understand why some of you people feel so offended when I say something bad about a SE phone? Do you want this forum to be one of those fangirl forums where people are only saying the nicest thing about their phones and where they keep congratulating each other on how cool and superior they are? I think not...

And, for gawds sake, I'm not telling not to buy a P800! Go ahead and buy it, I don't care. And I'm sorry if I offended you by saying bad things about your precious little sweethart. I hope your love will last forever...

I don't believe that at all. New programs and games will constantly be developed for this thing, and I think it would take a long long while before you'll be able to get bored with it.

I've had my 7650 for a while now, and there's constantly some new interesting app or something hitting the market. And hell, the P800's got twice as many features. I don't really see how you'll get the time to get bored with it!

The Nokia 7650 is no way as powerful as the P800 for various of reasons, first, Nokia does'nt put any new innovations in its fones, on the contrary, they simply immitate the other manufacturers...

If we go back a little, the release of the first mobile camera among all manufacturers was from Ericsson (MCA-10), and it was taken by Nokia, so its not really a new thing. Mobiles equipped with MP3 was created by Seimens first, NOT Nokia, Mobiles equipped with radio was taken from Motorola (If you remember the old V series it was equipped with radio functionality). Even Bluetooth was not equipped in Nokias but it is lately after the SE mobiles made exceptional gadgets using Bluetooth.

If its about ringtones which makes Nokia better than SE, then I must say that ringtones doesnt make a powerful phone, its the features and high connectivity which becomes the issue.

So see? Nokia is the most BORING mobile gadget on earth, and all its features are only immitations from other manufacturers. Its only enough to say that the P800 has 12 MB of memory for images, wheras the Nokia 7650 has only 3.6 MB...

This is why people get bored with Nokia, you actually you said that the T68i is the best fone, not one of those stupid feature-lacking Nokias.

'SE Rocks, Nokia Sucks...'
Thanx
