oo my extreme apologies. im new to the forum.. didnt see the 2nd page.. lol..
i would really like a phone with a large screen like w900.. but its hell old isnt it? and yes, i dun mind waiting..
could u tell me... wats hissing btw... lol? im no rich guy, just wanna spend the money on something worthwhile and useful. hence, its like a one-time event... gonna use my own cash and buy the stuff...

w900i is good though, great cam/video, speaker, sound quality, and FANTASTIC build quality. some say its big though, guess it varies between peoples opinions, and it has walkman version 1, 2 is better
i still say go w900/w810/w610i

if money is not an issue..go for the w610, slim version of w810 with walkman 2.0 and A2DP wich means it takes stereo bluetooth, or the w880. if you like clamshells, go for the w710, camera has no AF but itīs still great, check the reviews.

sometimes it doesn't matter when the phone is released. the w810 is quite old by release date, but the features and looks aren't that dated as compared with some 'newer' SE products.
SE walkman phones does have an advantage over nokia in that they're primarily targeted towards music listeners. some might say it's just branding, but the way the interface is created and so forth makes it a better choice for music buffs i say.
if you have the budget, get a w880 or w610. if not, then a w810 would do fine.

a bit off topic, but can 160kbps AAC match VBR mp3s? and also how is the nokia encoder as compared with itunes encoder using quicktime?

is there any walkman version that would make '' surfing'' songs much easier? cos this is one sad scenario..

and the w850 has a small screen? sad to say, it's the biggest screen on walkman phones so far, except for the w900. maybe you need something different from SE?

to tell the truth, i really like the w950i but its has no friggin camera.. not even a nice simple little 2 mp.
btw... K series and W series... i know K is more for camera but is the music player more or less the same OR W series is definitely better quality music?
well i dun mind waiting cos i must agree... all the SE phones at this point in time are rather lacking in quality in functions wise...
