For a low budget phone this could be the one that puts SE back into the simple-phone market that they seem to have lost a little foot hold in since the T230/T290 (in terms of candybar at least), mainly because when people come into our shop, there's three phones all at the same price: SE K310i, Moto W220 and Nokia 5070. At the moment alot of people are turning to the Nokia but before that they'd go for the Moto, unless they specifically wanted a camera phone.
But to be honest, most of the people going for phone that cost that little don't want a camera, I have tons of older people coming in and the VERY FIRST THING they say (and alot of the other phone shop guys here will know what I mean) is "I want a cheap, simple basic phone to make phone calls, NO CAMERA!". I reckon technology just scares them and the idea of a camera in a phone is too much lol.
Anyway, so the reason the K310i's been failing is one major issue: the joystick. I've tried getting older people to use it and they can't grasp it. Most of them have trouble realising that on a d-pad, up is up, down is down etc, let alone a little nubby joystick they can hardly see.
This could be SE's way of rectifying that

I think T250 is SE's best-look low end fone for 2007 portfolio. See J110/120, K200/220, nothing distinguished. Anybody knows the launching price of T250? thank you..

only the top part is brushed metal, which sets off a strong contrast against the plastic bottom part. thought it looked great at first, but reconsidering now.

Nice looking phone. I bought the silver one yesterday. Its battery cover is made of metal, looks almost similar to that in T650.
Too bad it has no music player.
