Get a cheap samsung slider. I don't know an exact model but look into it. If she only wants a basic phone theres like 3 pink low end sliders. The pink ones i know of start from $99 AUD and stop at $179 AUD. I think a very basic pink one is C300

My idea is actually to buy an used one on ebay for about 60-70 US Dollars.
PS: Everybody knows, that on ebay everything is cheapier.. Plus, buying an used one would make it even cheapier. Therefore, for 60 bucks, I could get a good phone?
PS2: What did I say, exactly, that made you believe I'm not from the UK? ; )

I agree with you. However, I'm in a delicate situation now.. But I dont want this day to pass in blank.
I'm thinking of giving her a Nokia 3650 with a pink faceplate and a 256Mb MMC card. I think I can get this package for 60 bucks for her (and there is still + 20,00 for the shipping = 80,00 total)
I will, of course, tell her that its an used phone. do you think she'd feel frustrated with this?

She wont be frustrated, i think shell like that, sorry about what i said before. Just make sure you check the phone for sms messages and contacts before you give it to here. and shell be happy and none the wiser.
