Yes, I am looking forward to more metallic phones, a phone can be ruined by a having a cheap plastic casing and like you rightly pointed out, if they last longer then its probably better for environmental waste.
I wonder if we will see any other colours than Silver-metallic.

Interestingly, the
online shop has been quite 'fleecing', since it's inception.....but that appears to be changing(check some of the more recent model prices).......
