ok,but dont forget that we dont know anything yet about the main features of sofia except (propably)the 5.0 mp camera..so i beleive we must wait and then compare them...and see which one is best...dont you forget that the 2 main and very big disadvantages for me of n95 are the big price of it and the lack of battery life,terms that se was ALWAYS AHEAD of nokia...

Exactly, obviously SE have said nothing of competing with n95. In fact they have said nothing of Sofia. Its all these fanboys who are saying that it will compete and even be better

Your right about the 5.0mp part, however, know one apart the guys at SE know about sofia. For all you know this sofia maybe some rumour a fanboy made up and suddenly its the biggest and longest rumour we have waited for as far as celluler devices are concerned. To be honest im not convinced this thing is totaly real. But im just putting this rumour into a "what if it is real" sence. From the info I have read on the sofia. The specs are the same as k810 but witha a 5 mp cam

The way people are amazed at the specs of N95 it looks as if SE does not have the tech to bring in GPS,

absolutely wrong,

Let me tell you once u get a Sony GPS phone in hand u will be amazed at the sharpess of the maps!!!

Its not important who takes out what first its the quality and the uniqueness that makes the diff

Hi all,

There really is some rubbish be spouted here the first i would like to address is that SE battery life is always better than Nokia. In which case could some please tell me what went wrong with the P990, M600, and W950 as the P990 didn't even ship with the battery it was announced to have and every single owner of these devices complains on the lack of battery life. Although they are meant to of released a new more powerful battery still no sign of it yet again nearly a year later it's a battery it really can't be that hard to produce it unless of course as is my suspicion SE just don't care.

Unlike my N93 that had a 1100aMh Li-polymer battery and my E61 that has a 1500aMh Li-Polymer battery that even if i run TT6 lasts for days and those are just 2 examples that that statement like a lot of SE fan boys statements are just wishful thinking.

Also i really can't see how any of you can claim how great Sophia's camera is going to be as no one has seen it yet to know one way or the other. In the same vein i think you will find Sophia will have serious competition form the Nokia N82 a 5mega pixel camera smart phone with Xenon flash. Which will be Nokia's 2nd 5mega Pixel camera phone so with have improved from the already good N95 whilst SE have yet to never mind release even announce a 5 mega Pixel camera phone all you have had is rumours.

You SE fan boys really are becoming extremely sad and desperate as all you can ever say is SE will be best based on what exactly nothing more than wish full thinking.

One area where SE most certainly don't produce the best is their smart phones just look at how great UIQ3 is even nearly 1 year later still waiting on a firmware upgrade to make it right, bet you all said the SE smart phones where going to to be the best to didn't you. Look how wrong you were on that one and even the soon to be released P1 still runs on the same old internals how very sad for a company i once loved and that led the way with innovation.

I just hope SE actually announce some devices on June 14th that are actually going to appear this year and not next but at least they are now rumoured to start having HSDPA who knows their new smart phone might actually be getting a new processor and a proper graphics chip as well now well miracles do happen at least occasionally.

I couldn't care less about a GPS device from SE, Nokia, Motorola or anyone else for that matter. MY Tom Tom 6 Software that i run on my device of choice and a stand alone GPS receiver is better than anything these company's can come up with. Tom Tom do one thing and do it the best why would i want a 2nd rate solution.

Totally agree. The rumor thread has blown things out of proportion, the phone isnt even announced and here we are already predicting what it will beat and what it will not. Pathetic to say the least.
There's no such thing as Sofia, Shinobu or Maria. Until something is official, its pure speculation and speculation is crap.
The fact that that thread has 5000 posts where people photoshop, make stuff up or look all over the internet shows the desperation level in SE fan boys and how direly they need a good SE phone.

for me, nokia ain't creative,
while camera and mp3 phones are produced, dey start to focous on them alot while sony ericsson has gone on to another stage to make phones with other features. like the shaker thingy...
sony ericsson has another marketing strategy, dats wad i tink but i dunno if im right
anyway n95 aint anything big it is better with more price. anyone can make that... its just putting the best of everythign into a phone n so it costs more...
