@dogmann
not worrying about your other comments, ill focus on your OMAP3 chips comments only, which you have made in a few threads.
now, what average consumer would even know/care/ask about what chip their phone has. for one dont know any one who does. (mobile phone forum readers are excluded from the 'average consumer' tag) its not a valid point to be making when comparing phones. even some forum members dont care. its only valid for your self, and who ever else cares about the chip.

have a little "dorky" question to you guys.
how many use more then this 5 functions, (now i mean daily use)
¤ sms
¤ mms
¤ make calls
¤ take pics
¤ listen to music/radio
like i said before, i mostley use this 5 functions. i nearly never use all this "extra-special-hi-tech-functions".
im glad if i have a cell phone with; good camera, good sound, good batterylife and good design (keypad/joystick/chassis).......all this features have example k810i (and other phones to of course).

just interested. (i think that many people dont use all this hi-tech-features you often find in example smartphones).
its often "take-a-look-what-my-phone-can-do".
edit. my friend have a N95, he dosent use half of all features the phone have.

I know I couldn't give a hoot what chips are in my phone, as long as it does what it says on the box then that should be enough.
I've read articles that said this precise thing, that customer are more interested in what it can do, rather than how it does them.
I find it hard to imagine what the K850i successor will be like. I really hope though that they continue to improve the 3.2mp range. You can't just improve a cameraphone by throwing more megapixels in it, it has to carry refinements too. I still think the K810i takes amazing pictures and I would choose its pics over unrefined 5.0MP pictures anyday.
At the moment it looks like we're going to have a jump in MP every year.
8.0MP next year anyone?

Well the reason I think 8mp is because of
this article.
It seems we see certain technological improvements only when the hardware becomes mass produced by the big component manufacturers such as NEC, Fujitsu and Texas Instruments etc.
I think it may be moving too fast. By 2010 we'll have10mp cameraphones.

Nobody gives a hoot what chip their phones have, but Dogmann was simply implying why SE has no HSDPA which is because of the outdated chips used.
