Some analysts have predicted that it could take as long as 18 months to 2 years for Motorola to get back to a position of strength - if it manages to at all. Market share is very hard to get back once lost.
When you look at it, each percentage market share point must cost a mobile company 100's of millions of dollars to gain and it looks like Moto will be taking a huge fall before the year is out. Sadly.

I think the way SE advertises and the first name SONY is what really attracts people.
When most people think of Sony they think of next gen, high tech stuff and when they here the Sony of Sony ericsson that is what may draw them

i dont think you have the ability to understand what people are saying to you instead of just say something stupid QVGA. im just saying that SE makes better DVB-H than nokia

Very valid points and it is not just the Sony name either it is also the use of Cybershot and Walkman branding. But unfortunately this is just marketing and the products do not deliver what their names suggest or imply. All show but no go I'm afraid and the whole point is i can see no good reason for it to be like this why not deliver cutting edge tech and really steal the market rather then delivering half arsed products and disappointing all but those that don't know better and buy the hype. SE really should be delivering so much more than they are currently.

We dont no any thing about the new phones yet so we dont know about that. K850 boasts walkman 3

actually thats one of many reasons, that i buy a SE phone

Great truly amazeing well done SE you are at last class leaders and just how many countries support DVB-H then? Maybe that is why Nokia and all the other manufacturers have left it alone for now as there are no services for it to use as yet.
Actually i think there may be a service in Korea where a home manufacturer is leading the way but that's about it.
I would rather see SE fitting new processors and graphics and HSDPA in their top end devices now that can actually make a difference in their performance and use today.

And i am trying to say whatever the hell SE makes in Japan, we have got nothing to do with it! They make them for Net Docomo networks and whatever there is. What SE has for the rest of the world is what we should be concerned with.
Tell me, which SE phone has DVB which I can buy? I dont think you have the ability to comprehend that the cellphone world in Japan and the rest of the world revolve in opposite directions.

so what is carl zeiss, dvd like video and showing of bose headphones in the add, as if its for free. Arent these marketing gimmicks? And do they deliver what they say?
