Only tried a few pictures. Honest opinion is that its everage for its price class. Meaning i would rate it as a 2Mpix fixed-apperture medium-to-low end sensor. Don't think they went all out on this one.
BTW: The TrackID thing I asked about. Seems to be up and running now. At least its working. No more "We're sorry, but your device is not allowed to use this service".
Also, one more nitpicky observation. The navigation 'wheel' is a little 'creaky'. Not much, but could've been better.
Don't read my comments into me not liking the phone. All in all I think its absolutely worth the money (remember: 512mb + headset + 3.5mm adapter x2 + usb cable included). Already enjoying using it
And about the green paint on s500i causing the cracks. Hadn't read that one. If true, not cool for those with green s500i, but good to know for w580i users.

x1387 has both grey and white versions in stock. My supplier should be getting them in too, i should have the price for it Monday.
I expect x1387's price to drop though in a day or 2.
