When I got my contract with 02 7 years ago I passed it no problem,
ive been working on agenceys for years and I thought this might be declined due to that but I got a shock when the Old Nokia 7110 arrived lol
im wondering how it will affect me now been outta work for a year
and im cancelling my 02 contract November 23rd

Did you sign the contract? If you've signed it, they can't REFUSE to give you the phone...
Unless it specficially said so of course.
They let you sign the contract AFTER you pass the check.
