Never happened to me before. I'm noticing that branded phones often tend to be rather dodgy though.

Re K810i buttons falling off - I got one of these last june and the activity menu key came away from the fascia within a month. The Phones4U branch immediately replaced the phone (it is on a T-mobile contract). I imagined this was a freak incident until I found this forum.
The clear and selection keys are now both peeling away. I went back to the shop and they are telling me that I may have to pay for it to be repaired despite the fact that it is still under manufacturers warranty and on an 18 month contract. I suggested that they replace the unit with a Nokia (as I still have a 5 year old 6230 and have had no problems with it but it doesnt have many of the features of the new models) and was told that I would have to pay for a replacement.
T-mobile say that I will have to take it up with Sony Ericsson and get it repaired but I believe that there is a fundamental design fault with the K810i and cannot see the point of replacing a faulty keypad with one that will probably fail in the same way in the near future.
Any ideas what I could try to get Phones4U to replace it with a Nokia?
