i can't understand why you keep wondering about p800's size. haven't you seen the photos? haven't you seen that it is exactly the same as the 7650??? just 1mm taller and 1mm less wide.

HMM.. i measured the phone on my screen with the actual size given on the SE site, and it matches! but of course, it depends on your resolution!

I read an article yesterday (and I cant find the damn thing) where they showed that actual next generation speeds in the U.S. were still slower than at home dial-up. I think the P800 will be cutting edge for quite some time

Hutchison didn't buy PCCW. PCCW bought Cable and Wireless Telecom Hong Kong. And Hutchison doesn't own PCCW...

and for 3, they did say they have problem with changing from 3G network back to GSM.. but said problem should be fine pretty soon.

P800 is too big for me. I played around with it here in ITU hong kong 2 weeks ago and its just too big. Yes it does have a lot of PDA fucntions but I never like using a PDA anyway. And without the flip, it is very hard to dial a number... its not that easy to "click" the numbers on the screen with your fingers. But I have to say the P800 does look smaller than the pictures and it is designed in such a way that it "looks" much smaller than the 7650.

So I guess I am staying with my T68 for now. This is the first phone that I still like so much after 13 months of use. Its just a phone that can't be matched... and I am never going to buy a phone without bluetooth again... unless there is something that can replace the BT headset...

@dumbdumb i agree entirely with that last bit,as i have also had a t68/i for 14mnths, i will be looking at the p800 though as i am a PDA user, i make ALL my calls using the calling card service on the t68 & allthough p800 does have calling card services i`m worried that because it often involves individual number dialing (if the said number is not in phone book) that this may be awkward on the p800.

I do not see the point being so hair-splitting about some existing or non-existing feature on P800....

for gods sake, it is the same thing like buying a car...U like the brand, U like a bit of shape, OK 307 is better than 306, Golf IV is newer than Golf III.....
How many of you would buy P800 WITHOUT label SE? It is Ericsson that hypnotizes you ( hmmmm,...us...).Would you buy big boxy Sony P800 if Ericsson had similar/better phone!!???...Nope.

Did U ever ask yourselves "what about Motorola menus?..."How many Motorola users visit Esato?!!...

US phones are like US cars.....And this is not a compliment......

Actually i`m not a dedicated SE person at all,i want to spend my money the best possible way, when i buy a phone, a car or anything even food & clothes,i ask myself the same question, WILL IT IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF MY LIFE if i think it will then i buy it. the only reason i go into detail about a potential purchase of a p800 on here is because this is where people get info to help decide on a SE phone purchase,....or in short FO MF.
