That is one way of looking at it ... if you don't anticipate getting a new phone for another 18 months! I always consider the cost of the tariff as a way of paying for the phone spread out over the length of the tariff - after all, the cheapest SIM free is £359 and my 12 month tariff is a total cost of £358. If you have an 18 month contract you are paying a minimum of £490 for the phone and must wait 18 months before you have the opportunity of an upgrade.

Yep that's why I avoid 18 month contracts like the plague. (At least until we get 18 month warranties and manufacturer release patterns).

Isnt the unlimited data on a 200 meg fair usage policy though? If not could you give me more info on the data plan.

I'll be getting it on T-mob for £28.75 a month with Flext 35 900 mins or 1800 texts and web'n'walk max 10 gig limit. Its normally £57.50 but I have half price for life with T-mob, so I couldnt ever leave them.

I hope they give it to me for free when I upgrade. I were told it would be free by the first person that gave me a rang from T-mob, but the second person I spoke to said they made a mistake and cant confirm the price untill it gets released.

If it's not free, I'll want to take flext 50 + w+w max which should cost me £36.25 PM. However on their site, the only w+w max plan they have is with flext 35 so I'll have to ask about that.

If I take flext 50 and add w+w max on top, I wouldn't get w+w discounted because it counts as a bundle and not as part of the tariff. Gonna be really difficult to explain all this on the phone with them if they dont give it to me free on their 'only' w+w max plan:

Really really nice tariff at half price XD. If they did this with flext 50, that would be £72.50 a month at half price = £36.25!!!!

Yea, the difference between flext 35 and 50 would only be £7.50 a month for me, or £135 over the whole 18 months. Its worth taking even though I only use around 100 minutes and 200 texts a month XD.

I just want that Fhat discount! I'll also get a cheaper upgrade at the end of it then.

I'll have to do a lot of sweet talking when I ring them up XD

Because you can order it on a new connection or upgrade to it on O2? It just takes a few days longer then usual to arrive.

If it wasnt released, they wouldnt be accepting orders for it.

I called SE center Lebanon and they will not have the K850 before ending of October...means as usual you have to ad about 2-3 weeks more and voila the release date off the K850 in my country is for mid-November
