Ive only ever had one number but i got a whole bunch of simmcards laying around.....telstra, dodo, vodafone, virgin, telstra again etc....
this way there is no need to inform everyone when my mobile number changes....and i know it so well..

I took this number cause it has 393 in it 3 & 9 are possibly the best numbers in the world

I don't change phone number(s) unless I really absolutely have to do it. during college I have to move to a new dormitory every summer session and by the time it ends I have to move back to my previous dorm but (THEY!!!) always put me in a different room, so my phone number was always changing.

..after college's done my landline changes everytime I moved (the phone company's availability is limited) but my cell number (Sprint is the only available option back then in the area) stayed for about 3 years, then moved here with hubby, got on T-Mobile, got this number since 2002 and have a few other prepaid numbers (none is a keeper and all is no older than 10 months old).
my family (parents, grandparents, relatives) never changes phone since I can remember. I think everyone have the exact same landline numbers even before I was born! not sure about cellphones though hehehe
