my t300 is suffering. all i can put at once is 5 backgrounds +2 screen savers+5-6 melodies+2-3 games. free him. there is 400k of unwanted pics and sounds in there. i think a software upgrade or unlocking the phone might be the solution. I have r1d, so i dont think i can upgrade yet, but unlocking the phone maybe?

i have an unlocked t300 (r1b software) that was purchased in hong kong recently. i haven't had any problems deleting any of the default tones and pics on the phone.
se really should have provided more memory with the phone. i cannot store as many screensavers and games as i would like.

You have R1B, it must be why you can erase the pics... The R1D cannot i think (i've R1D)....

and 1 more thing!! i remembered tt there is a start up show and a shut down show in the se site when u test the phone out...
but when i really have it, i did not get the shows as promised.. even i go for the upgrade(r1d)... any 1 of u guys have the shows??
and any idea how to make the poly ringtone louder.? it sounds worst softer than the nokia 7210....... i real disappointed in this damn phone.. should have bought the mistubishi m320.. its a lot better..
any solutions pls tell... thankx...

Guys, let's get things straight! With R1B you only THINK that you are erasing the pics, but you are not freeing up any memory and the pics will reappear after a master reset. With R1D the phone tells informs you right away that you cannot delete factory installed items. In any case, no end user can create more space in ANY T300!
